Peter Khalil MP

Peter Khalil is a Member of the Australian Federal Parliament and serves as Chair of the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security. He has previously worked for the Department of Defence, including a posting in Iraq (2003-2004), earning the Australian Overseas Humanitarian Services medal. He has served on multiple parliamentary committees, including Foreign Affairs, Defence, Trade, and Communications. In 2024, he was appointed Special Envoy for Social Cohesion.
