Louisa Wall is a former New Zealand politician, double international sportswoman, and human rights advocate. She served as a Member of Parliament for the Labour Party from 2008 until her resignation in 2022 to become New Zealand’s inaugural Ambassador for Pacific Gender Equality, a role she held until 2024. Wall lead the legalisation of same-sex marriage in New Zealand in 2013, and was known for her independent stance on foreign policy.
