Hon. Biata Beatrice Nyamupinga MP

Biata Beatrice Nyamupinga is a Zimbabwean gender activist, politician, and entrepreneur. She has served in the Parliament of Zimbabwe for more than ten years, and has been a strong advocate for women's representation and empowerment in Zimbabwe. During her first term (2008–2018), she chaired the Women Affairs Committee and served on several others, including Health and Public Accounts. She now chairs the Disability Caucus. She holds qualifications in Philosophy, Peace and Governance, and Development Studies.
