Alex Sobel MP

Alex Sobel is a British politician and is the Labour MP for Leeds Central and Headingley. He currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the British Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, and Chair of Labour Friends of Ukraine and All-Party Parliamentary Group on Ukraine. He previously served as a Leeds City Councillor, leading initiatives on air pollution and climate change. He has held opposition roles, including Shadow Minister for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (2021–2023) and Shadow Minister for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport (2020–2021).
